The building itself shows some wear and tear, especially in maintenance—think scuffed walls and slightly rattly bed frames. The noise from the nearby main road can be a bit of a bother, particularly on busy evenings. Breakfast, while tasty, had its hiccups. some items, like moldy toast and pre-packaged cheese, felt off for a morning meal. The commingling of long-term tenants in public areas might not vibe with everyone looking for a traditional stay.

The welcoming host made our stay enjoyable, and the breakfast exceeded expectations with a lovely variety. our room faced a busy road, which caused noticeable noise and there were some cleanliness issues that need attention. This place is perfect for families needing a convenient stop.

I had a lovely stay in a Superior Family Room that was spacious and cozy, and I appreciated the warm hospitality from the owner. Breakfast was delightful, featuring an assortment of options, including the surprise of cake alongside the usual buffet. A perfect base for my travels, though I think the decor could use some updating for a more modern feel.

I enjoyed my stay at Lynebank in Carlisle. The comfortable room and excellent breakfast provided a lovely experience, despite the occasional road noise. The owner, Steve, made sure we felt welcome and taken care of throughout our visit.

Exceptional hospitality, beautifully decorated room, delicious food.

I stayed here for one night while visiting a nearby vintage motorbike museum. The room was extremely comfortable, and I appreciated the host's friendly demeanor. Even though some areas needed a bit more cleaning, it didn't take away from our overall enjoyment. Breakfast had great gluten-free options, catering to my dietary needs, which was a pleasant surprise.

We arrived late but the host was super nice and even helped us get to our room, which was bright and clean. The breakfast was alright, kinda basic but did the job. The only bummer was the noise from other guests, but it didn't ruin our stay. a decent place to crash for the night.

While the dinner options were convenient and satisfying, there's room for improvement in the overall dining experience.
